ELVIAL aluminium profiles produced for construction are certified within the EN 15088 framework and the applicable European Construction Products Regulation requirements concerning declaration of performance and CE marking.

Surface-treatment requirements should always be selected according to project location, exposure, distance from the sea and project specification. Pre-anodizing, SEASIDE pretreatment and Class 2 powder coatings may be specified for particularly demanding applications.
ELVIAL architectural systems are tested for critical characteristics including thermal insulation, air permeability, watertightness, wind resistance and acoustic performance. Selected systems also carry published North American NAFS ratings.

EPDs provide verified environmental information for products and materials. LEED evaluates an entire building project. Product documentation can contribute to relevant project credits but does not make an individual window or aluminium system “LEED certified”.
International system testing defines the performance potential of an architectural aluminium solution.
The final window, door or façade element must then be correctly specified, machined, assembled, glazed and inspected according to the selected system and project requirements.
