Quality Management System
ISO 9001 establishes a structured framework for quality management, process consistency, continuous improvement and customer-focused organisational processes.
A global architectural system requires more than sophisticated engineering. Quality management, documented performance, independent testing, environmental transparency and market-specific standards form part of the framework behind Reynaers Aluminium solutions.
Reynaers Aluminium systems are developed for use across
different markets and regulatory environments. Depending
on the selected system, variant, configuration and country,
relevant documentation may include European CE requirements,
ISO management standards, North American performance
classifications, environmental declarations and independent
product certifications.
Certifications and performance classifications are therefore
always evaluated at system and project level — not assumed
universally across every configuration.
Reynaers Aluminium operates management systems certified according to internationally recognised ISO standards for quality and environmental management.
ISO 9001 establishes a structured framework for quality management, process consistency, continuous improvement and customer-focused organisational processes.
ISO 14001 provides the framework for systematic environmental management, including resource use, operational processes, environmental impact and continuous improvement.
These ISO certifications refer to Reynaers Aluminium's management systems. They should not be interpreted as ISO certifications held by Mparolas Aluminium Systems unless explicitly stated separately.
For European projects, aluminium windows, doors and façade products are evaluated within the applicable European regulatory and performance framework. The exact requirements depend on the product category and final configuration.
CE Marking provides the European framework connecting construction products with their declared performance and applicable harmonised technical requirements. Where required, the Declaration of Performance communicates the relevant characteristics of the finished product.
EN 14351-1 provides the European product standard framework for windows and external pedestrian doorsets, addressing relevant performance characteristics according to the product and intended use.
Curtain wall systems fall under a separate European product-standard framework. EN 13830 addresses curtain walling and its relevant performance characteristics.
Reynaers North American technical documentation includes performance data and classifications based on standards used in the United States and Canada for selected systems and configurations.
Selected Reynaers systems are documented with performance ratings according to the North American fenestration standard framework AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 (NAFS).
Ratings such as CW or AW and the applicable Performance Grade depend on the actual tested system, dimensions and configuration.NFRC methodologies are used in North America to evaluate and communicate fenestration energy performance, including characteristics such as thermal transmittance and solar heat gain.
Project values depend on frame, glazing, dimensions and complete product configuration.ASTM test methods may be referenced in Reynaers North American documentation for characteristics such as acoustics and other performance criteria, depending on the system.
A system selected for a North American project should be checked against the required local code, project specification, tested configuration and applicable performance classification.
AAMA/NAFS, NFRC and ASTM references do not mean that every Reynaers system automatically carries every classification. Ratings must always be verified for the specific product, typology, size, glazing and tested configuration selected for the project.
Product performance is determined by the complete configuration. Frame design, dimensions, glazing, seals, drainage, hardware and fabrication all influence the finished element.
Uf, Uw and related thermal characteristics according to the relevant methodology.
Evaluation of air leakage through the complete closed element.
Resistance to water penetration under specified pressure conditions.
Structural performance of the system under defined wind pressure.
Sound reduction performance for tested frame and glazing combinations.
Product-specific resistance classifications where dedicated tested variants are available.
Environmental performance increasingly forms part of architectural specifications. Reynaers provides environmental declarations and third-party certification for selected product families.
Selected Reynaers Aluminium window, door, sliding and façade systems have achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified® Full Scope Bronze, providing independent assessment across key sustainability criteria.
Reynaers Aluminium provides Environmental Product Declarations for a broad portfolio of systems. EPDs communicate quantified environmental impact information based on Life Cycle Assessment and recognised environmental declaration standards.
Digital technical documentation can support access to system information, performance data, certificates and maintenance documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Long-term architectural performance also depends on the durability of the aluminium surface finish.
QUALICOAT provides a recognised quality framework for architectural aluminium coating. Reynaers works with QUALICOAT-labelled coating partners, while Class 2 powder coatings provide enhanced resistance to UV exposure and improved retention of colour and gloss for demanding architectural applications.
Actual coating specification should always be selected according to project location, environmental exposure, colour, finish and project requirements — especially for coastal or other demanding environments.
Depending on the selected Reynaers solution, additional product certifications or building sustainability frameworks may also be relevant.
Selected high-insulation Reynaers variants are available with Passive House-related certification or performance levels.
Selected Reynaers systems and configurations carry Minergie-related certification for high-performance building applications.
Reynaers products and supporting environmental information can contribute to relevant credits within LEED-certified building projects.
Product information and environmental performance documentation may support relevant BREEAM assessment criteria at building level.
LEED and BREEAM certify or assess buildings and projects, not individual aluminium windows as standalone products. Reynaers systems and documentation can support applicable credits within these project certification frameworks.
International certification and system testing define the potential performance of an architectural aluminium solution.
The finished element must then be correctly specified, processed, assembled, glazed and checked according to the selected system and project requirements.
For projects using Reynaers Aluminium solutions, Mparolas can evaluate the selected system together with the required dimensions, glazing, performance criteria and destination market.
Performance classifications, certificates, sustainability labels and market-specific approvals may apply only to particular systems, variants, dimensions, glazing configurations or typologies.
The applicable technical documentation should be confirmed for the exact Reynaers Aluminium system, configuration and destination market selected for each project. References on this page describe the broader certification and testing framework and should not be interpreted as a universal certification of every possible Reynaers product configuration.
