High-performance aluminium systems prepared for an international project.
Mparolas Aluminium Systems completed the manufacturing, factory testing, packaging and preparation of a new aluminium window order destined for Knokke-Heist, Belgium.
The project combines EUROPA EMF60 Hybrid minimal sliding systems with EUROPA EOS 78 Hybrid opening aluminium windows, creating a coordinated solution for contemporary residential architecture.
The aluminium constructions were manufactured at our facilities in Chalkida, Greece, where final quality and functional checks were completed before packaging and collection.
The project is being carried out in collaboration with Details by Segers, while the on-site installation of the aluminium systems in Knokke-Heist was completed by VDC Construct.
Motorized minimal windows tested before loading.
Before packaging and shipment, the motorized EUROPA EMF60 Hybrid minimal sliding constructions were fully tested at our factory.
The testing procedure was carried out before loading so our technical team could verify the movement and operating sequence of the electrically driven minimal windows while the constructions were still accessible in the controlled factory environment.
This stage is especially important for large motorized minimal sliding elements, as it enables the system, mechanisms and movement of the completed construction to be checked before it leaves the production facility.
EUROPA EMF60 Hybrid
The EUROPA EMF60 Hybrid is a minimal sliding aluminium system developed for architectural projects where large glazed surfaces, reduced sightlines and visual continuity are essential.
Its minimal frame geometry allows the glazing to dominate the architectural composition, while the aluminium profiles remain visually discreet.
For this Belgian project, selected EMF60 Hybrid constructions were motorized and factory-tested before packaging and dispatch.
The Type 4 configuration shown here demonstrates the concealed, minimal-frame philosophy of the system and its integration into modern architectural openings.

The project also includes EUROPA EOS 78 Hybrid opening aluminium windows, complementing the minimal sliding constructions.
EOS 78 Hybrid is designed for contemporary projects requiring strong thermal performance, glazing flexibility and clean architectural lines.
The system can be configured with standard or hidden sash solutions, allowing the visible aluminium geometry to be adapted according to the architectural requirements of each opening.
Combining EOS 78 Hybrid with EMF60 Hybrid enables opening and minimal sliding systems to work together within one coordinated façade concept.

Protection before international transport.
Once all final checks were completed, the aluminium constructions were prepared and protected for collection.
Particular attention was given to the glazing, aluminium surfaces, corners and sensitive parts of the completed constructions during the packaging process.
Proper export preparation is especially important for large minimal systems and glazed constructions due to their dimensions and the additional handling required during transportation.
Transport arrangement selected by the client.
For complete transparency, the transport company, open-platform vehicle and the specific transport arrangement visible in the photographs were selected and organised by the client.
Mparolas Aluminium Systems' responsibility in this phase included the manufacture, factory testing, quality control, protection and preparation of the finished aluminium constructions prior to collection.
Mparolas Aluminium Systems does not recommend an open platform as its preferred solution for the safe international transportation of finished aluminium windows and glazed constructions.
For international transport, we generally recommend a suitable enclosed or otherwise adequately protected transportation solution, selected according to the size, weight, packaging and characteristics of each shipment, in order to limit exposure to weather, road debris and other external conditions during transit.
Final preparation before departure to Belgium.
After manufacturing, testing and export packaging were completed, the aluminium constructions were prepared for collection from our facilities in Chalkida.
The packaged elements were positioned for loading and handed over to the transportation provider appointed by the client.
The shipment then departed Greece for its final destination in Knokke-Heist, Belgium.
